The Pic-Nac and Hike at Tony's Grove

Avril LOVES to have "pic-nacs," as she calls them.  Her favorite food to eat at pic-nacs is the watermelon.  We decided to take a trip up the canyon and go see all the pretty sights around Tony Grove Lake.  We hiked all the way around the lake.  Avril insisted on walking/running the whole way... nobody could believe she had that much energy.  She kept tripping on rocks and falling down, but popping right back up and continuing the journey round the lake.  It was an adventure!  I love watching Avril experience new things, especially being outdoors.  Its so fun to watch how much the girls love our little outings.

Montana Again!

It was a loooong drive with 2 little girls, but McKel and Avril did AWESOME on the car ride to Billings.  We wanted to come for Grandma Char's 80th birthday, and to see Charlie and Annie Jackson get back from their church missions in South America.  We are sooooo glad we went.  We felt so welcomed and loved and Avril keeps talking about all her Montana aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Saturday morning we met up with Jim and Grammy Carm to feed the ducks at the park.  Does Avril like doughnuts?

Four generations of girls :)  It was so great to get to see Grandma Char.  Happy 80th Birthday!!  We love you :)

 Avril and McKel got to meet their 2nd cousin, Ellie for the first time!  Avril was so excited by all the books in Ellie's room.  McKel and Ellie hit it off right away.  They are so cute!

They like to communicate by slapping the table with their hands.  Avril sits in the background, trying to decipher what they're saying.

McKel says, "no!  no!  I wasn't ready yet... my hair's a mess!"
