We were lucky enough to have Grandma Carme come up from California to stay with us for the week before we all drove up to Montana for Charlie and Mindy's wedding. Grandma and granddaughter got to spend some quality time together :) You can see where Jesse and Avril get their beautiful big eyes.
Grandma Carme bought this wonderful bouncy chair for Avril. Avril wasn't quite sure what to think of it. She tries to verbalize this through her bubble blowing. She is like her daddy, and an excellent dribbler... only not with her hands yet, just her mouth! Since her toes didn't quite hit the ground, we got creative and put some games like Taboo and Apples to Apples under her feet. She is so excited with her new bouncy chair!
Avril also had some fun dancing while Grandpa played the piano :) As you can see, she is very happy! I love this picture, I'll cherish this memory forever.
This picture is also just adorable. Avril tried on daddy's hat. It just doesn't get any cuter than this :)

Anya and I were looking at your blog and when she saw the bouncy chair, she said, "I want to go there and play." Little does she know it would take us a few minutes to get there :) Avril is SO cute. Seriously, even John heartily agrees, and he doesn't always give his stamp of approval so easily in these matters.
