Unfortunate Event #1 (but who's counting)- Unfortunate event numver 1 was the identity theft occurrence. There were fraudulant charges made to staples.com, verizon, and several gas staion attemps. The first fraudulant charge happened the day we left for our honeymoon. It would seem these charges would be easily tracked. Staples.com should just tell us what the shipping address was for the merchanise and we could track down the perpetrator that way right? WRONG! Staples.com was no help, telling me that though the order was made with MY credit card and under MY name, they were unable to tell me where "I" told them to ship it, deeming it was a breech of privacy (I know, I know, it makes no sense unless I'm a schizo). No matter. Surely verizon could tell me whose account "I" paid for with MY credit card right? WRONG AGAIN! Verizon was equally unhelpful. But at least the theif was stupid enough to try the card out at several gas stations. We called the toll free number to discover to find out what gas stations the card was used at. Unfortunately, Discover doesn't track the the transactions that don't go through (wouldn't that be more suspicious than if the card did go through?), only the ones that do go through. Discover could tell us what type of gas station (Ex- Chevron, Shell, Mobil, etc...) but not the store number. With all this going wrong, surely we could turn to the local police to help us. However, they told us that since we got our frauded money reimbursed (at least that went our way), it was the credit card company that got the loss. They didn't take into account we had lost gift cards, checks, and various other wedding presents through the mail. This has been unfortunate event number 1.

The beginning of us- as told by Jesse
PART 1
Alicia, as you may well know, owns a townhome in Logan, Utah, which she rents out to college aged girls. One of her rooms was vacant and Alicia needed a new renter. The girl who took the room just happened to be a friend of Jesse's. Once the friend had moved in, Jesse went to the house to see the place and visit with his friend. It was May 12. That was the first time his eyes met the eyes of the woman he would eventually spend the rest of his life with. However, both of them were in relationships with other people at that time. So for the next three months, Alicia and Jesse politely said their hellos and goodbyes not expecting to ever have any other words for each other.
PART 2
One day, when both Jesse and Alicia were in much better states to romantically expand, Jesse got his flirt on with Alicia. It was not well received. Or received at all for that matter. Alicia blew it off as if nothing had happened. But Jesse was completely oblivious to this and counted the day as a step towards a relationship with Alicia. After he had dropped his best lines on Alicia, he got her the one material thing she wanted the most. A body-length pillow for her bed. Alicia reacted much better to this. They began going on dates and opening up more and more of their beliefs, goals, and plans for the future. The rest, as they say, is history.

The Cleaning Frenzy
Just an update on the latest newest newlywed news. We had a lovely weekend cleaning the bathroom. This may sound like a simple task but I can assure you it was soooo not! I seriously doubt the bathroom has EVER been cleaned, in like 15 years literally.
We are renting a room from a nice old lady in Santa Clarita, CA. We are renting for dirt cheap (emphasis on the word dirt), because we wanted to start saving for a place of our own. This lady has had one of the hardest life stories I've ever heard. She was my neighbor years and years ago and we thought of calling her to see if we could help her out in exchange for a place to live. She was very excited and I believe we have already been able to help her out quite a bit since we've been staying with her. She currently has diabetes, fibromyalgia, just underwent surgery for her carpal tunnel, and went through several years battling cancer. While in the hospital with the cancer, her husband left her for his new girlfriend. She can barely walk so really cannot maintain the housework that needs to be done, which is ALOT!!!
We have been so busy (and sick) it has been hard for us to get going on cleaning, but this weekend I decided I could no longer live in the unsanitary conditions. I have been sick with the flu twice, as well as had a fever/cold, and Jesse has been sick as well although he never will admit it. We think our recent illnesses are related to the uncleanliness of where we're staying. So... we decided to tackle the bathroom first.
I think it took me 2 hours just to clean out the bathtub. Everything was caked with layers and layers of dirt. I sprayed bleach on everything and it left white streaks where it dripped down. I'm a little worried Jesse and I may drop dead from inhaling the cleaning fumes while staying in the small enclosed area of the bathroom for 2 days straight. After several hours my eyes started to tear up and I couldn't stop coughing. But it was so worth it. Now we don't have to wear shoes when we walk in the bathroom! I wish we had a before and after picture so you could really see the amount of work that went in to this project. We are planning on painting now so after it is completely finished I'll put pictures up.

Getting Started...
Now that we're a married couple we found out its not really official until you have your own blog. Therefore, Jesse and Alicia gave birth to the Yargers' blogspot. Stay tuned because we already have a long list of newlywed adventures! Once we get our pictures downloaded we will start telling our exciting life stories. Until then, if you have a lot of time on your hands check out our endless list of wedding pics at www.pacephoto.com/alicia
For those of you who did not know, we are living in sunny Southern California back where Alicia grew up. Jesse started his first day of school today. After his class the first thing he said to his wife was, "if I don't get an A in this class you are allowed to divorce me." Of course he was kidding, but that was supposed to mean it will be an easy class so we'll see if that holds true by the end of the semester.
OK well I can't get as in to this blogging things as much as I'd like to right now because I'm taking a break at work so I will devote more time to our new baby soon!
