Random Acts of Cuteness

This little kiddo bike was one of our many garage sale finds.  Avril beams with pride when she successfully sits on it and maneuvers around :)

Avril has abandoned her previous hat aversion.  Hooray!  Cuz hats are so cute :)  Lately she has been asking (via baby grunts) for mommy to put hats on her.  She must know how cute she looks in them because she prances around the room grinning at all the attention she gets just by looking cute!

I have been trying to fix up the backyard and weed the hill by our canal so that I can put a garden there.  It is a long process, and I try to do a little every day.  Avril only lets me work in short spurts, before she feels that she is more important than the weeds and deserves my undivided attention.  I guess she is right.  The other day, as I was weeding, I heard the screen door in the backyard slide shut and then I heard that laugh I adore.  I looked over to find Avril making faces through the screen door.  Haha this made me just bust out laughing.  I think that is Oreo cookie in her teeth but it very well could be dirt.  I wouldn't be surprised of either.

The other day Avril and I ventured over to Sam's Club to restock on the gallons of juice we consume at our house.  She was just being so cute I couldn't resist taking a few snapshots.
The lady at the checkout counter could not get over how defined Avril's eyebrows are.  She said she has the most gorgeous eyebrows.  Its funny cuz I never notice that but I do hear that a lot from people so I guess its true!  Way to go Avril, good job having nice brows :)  Avril is starting to get a nice tan from all the playing outside.  There's nothing she'd rather be doing than playing outside.  The sunshine also seems to be turning her in to a blonde!

Loving this Cute Summer Outfit!

Grandma Carme bought Avril this cute summer romper and its perfect for the hot weather.  Avril also LOVES to read books.  Rather, she LOVES for people to read to her.  Here she is asking to be read to with her big hazel eyes.  How can we not give in to such pure adorableness?

Pleeease, read me a story...

I'll take some daddy play time, that's also my favorite!  I LOVE Dada!!

1st Game of the Playoffs!

Jesse's picture made the front page of the Herald Journal sports section!  I love having a famous husband :)  It was a great game, a Stampede win, 14-6.  Finally the weather was acting like it was supposed to and it was not freezing cold.  We enjoyed the warm temperature and Avril even entertained the crowd as she walked up and down the aisle, patting people on their backs and pointing out the "lili's" (flowers, she says the word flowers pronounced lie-lies; it is her new favorite word).  One of the fans even placed a frisbee on her head and she managed to balance it on there for several minutes, not sure what to do with it.
I'm so proud of my hubby who truly does it all.  Avril just loves her dada :)  Our next playoff game is up in Great Falls, Montana.  Guess we have another road trip ahead of us.  Go Stampede!!
 Go #11!!

Avril, You're So Cute!

Avril is learning new things so quickly.  Whenever we tell her she's so cute, she cocks her head to the side and puts her shoulder up to her ear.  I'm not sure why she started doing this but it's adorable.  It's so true!  She's so cute!

Shelby the Grad

Can you believe it?

This guy graduated!!  Our little bro is all growed up!  Congrats, grad :)

To celebrate, we invited our Montana relatives down and had some fun!  First we decided to go bowling...

Next, we all met up at the local Mandarin Garden for some tasty Chinese food!

I'm so cute!
The proud grandpas with Avril.  I hope they give her enough attention :)
Look how happy he is to be done!

The highlight of the night was sitting through the entertaining and exciting process of calling out the names of all Shelby's classmates during the graduation ceremony (insert sarcasm here).  yawn.  With a last name like Yarger, you can expect you'll be sitting for a loooong time before your name gets called.  Jesse wasn't sure if they were going in alphabetical order, or by order of GPA.  Hmmm... Shelby was almost dead last.

Our whole crew, after the ceremony

Dalton and Jesse.  Umm, I think Jesse was rehearsing for his College graduation.

After all the excitement, not to mention the long drive from Montana, I think our guests were a bit worn out...

So off to bed we went, only to wake up bright and early for a delicious waffle breakfast at our house.  Apparently 7 am came just a little too early for some of us:
I think Jared is mad at Shelby for hogging the blanket... or maybe he's mad because he wanted to sit next to Ally :)

And for others, they were wide-eyed and bushy-tailed, ready to work.  So we put them to work on the plates of fruit.  As you can see, they took their jobs very seriously.
Too perfect to eat!

Later that day, there were a bunch of animal adoption agencies bringing woof woofs and meow meows to the Petsmart parking lot, to tug on people's heart strings and get them to take one home with them.  We thought this sounded like a fun activity for Avril so we decided to go.
Avril loved petting the animals.  Here she is observing a meow meow.
And here's uncle Shelbs with little Av and his madre.  We had so much fun, and managed to escape without bringing home any animals with us!

Bath Time

My parents already posted some bath time pics on their blog but Avril is so cute, she can be the star of two blogs :)

 hows my hair?
bet you can't resist these big eyes...

A clean baby is a happy baby!  Then again, a messy baby is pretty happy too...

Getting Everyone's Attention....

GETTING EVERYONE'S ATTENTION....
IS ABOUT TO GET MUCH HARDER!
Jesse had this brilliant idea about how to spread our exciting news.  We went out and bought a plain white tee and some fabric markers.  This was the result.  Jesse was so proud of his creation.  We couldn't wait for Avril to wear her new shirt around the grandparents to let them know that Avril is going to be a big sister!!
Here is the back of the shirt:

...more posts to come. I'm a little behind. Mommy hasn't been feeling so well so its a little more difficult to blog.
