McKel 6 Months!

Today is McKel's 1/2 Year Birthday!  Wow!  I can't believe how fast she's growing!!

So sweet.  They love each other!

 McKel is definitely still proving to be a very unique baby, so different from her sister in seemingly every way.  Probably the most notable character trait of McKel, is her incredibly powerful set of lungs.  Everywhere we go we get looks like, "holy cow!  I've never heard a baby so loud before!"  The other day we were at the bread store and the guy at the table next to ours commented that McKel is going to be a singer when she grows up since she had some serious pipes.  I said, "I know, that's what I keep thinking!"  McKel just squeals with delight all the time, for no apparent reason.  She is VERY vocal.

McKel is also an incredibly STRONG baby.  She has started to hold herself up in a push up position when you put her on the floor.  She can squirm out of anything.  She has already squirmed out of the baby swing and the bumbo, somehow magically landing unharmed on the floor, luckily.  While I was on the computer I put her on her back on the floor next to me.  A couple minutes later I looked to find her clear across the room, entangled in some cords on the floor!  She is always getting in to potentially dangerous situations, but seems to be very tough and very lucky so we haven't had any serious accidents yet.

I still believe that McKel has an old soul.  She just seems like she knows what you are talking about and she looks at you like she understands what you are thinking or feeling.  She is very loving and very happy.  She is easy to make laugh, when you do dances in front of her or make funny noises... she will laugh uncontrollably.  She loves her sister, especially watching her run around and be goofy.  This will also make McKel laugh.

We are so blessed to have the sweet spirit as a part of our family.  We love you Baby Kel.  Happy 6 Months to you!
