Happy Birthday Brittney!!

In celebration of Brittney's 14th birthday, we went out to eat at the Golden Corral, then spent the rest of the day at the Fair.  I am pretty sure the Fair was by far Avril's most favoritest thing she has ever done in her life.  She never stops talking about seeing all the animals at the fair, and riding the dragon ride with cousin Brittney, and mommy.

Cuteness

Sometimes we stick Avril in the sink for her bath... Mom!  Do you think I'm a baby?!  I'm a big girl!

 Actually, she is a tall, skinny girl!  We were just told that Avril is in the zero percentile for BMI.  Very tall, and very skinny... gotta start eating her veggies!!  She is such a picky eater, I really struggle to find foods that she'll eat.  She loves her sweets though.
One of the new cute things that Avril says, is, "for a big while!"  She adds that to anything she wants to do.  Frequently you will hear her say, "I want to go outside for a big while!"  "Mommy, lets go read the books for a big while."  It makes me laugh every single time :)
Avril's rapidly expanding vocabulary just astounds me.  The other night, Avril was analyzing her hands, and stated, "My hands are amazing!"  She keeps us laughing constantly.

 McKel is just so stinkin cute all the time.  She is always all smiles.  She takes so many falls I don't know how she has not been to the hospital yet.  She just is completely fearless, and will try anything.  She is soooo close to walking.. any day now!  She loves to run her tongue back and forth over her bottom teeth, and of course loves to put everything in to her mouth.  She also can't get enough of her big sis, Avril.  She just laughs and laughs as she watches Avril entertain her.

I wonder if I can fit these rubber duckies in my mouth!

I have decided to change our blog to private because of the current trial we are being faced with.  Our family is going through a very difficult time.  We are taking all the prayers we can get.  Our faith is really being tested right now, but we will remain faithful, and recognize the miracles our Heavenly Father brings us daily.  Thanks for following our blog. Updates...

McKel: This is the most resilient little girl I have ever seen. She falls down about 20 times a day, and pops right back up and gets in to more trouble. McKel LOVES to pull herself up and practice trying to walk. I predict that she'll be walking within the next couple weeks, and she's not even 8 months yet! She is just so tough and her motor skills are very developed. She is happy practicing her walking skills all day long, but also loves to pull everything down that is within reach. She also started to say, MAMAMAMA, it is sooo precious! She has two little teeth that have come in within the past month, on the bottom. She is very smiley, but still has stranger anxiety so people always feel bad when she doesn't let new people hold her. We're working on that.
Here she is:  Avril thinks she looks like a Teletubby.  We think that's why she calls her a YaYa baby... not real sure!

Since I took a beginning Photoshop class sometimes I try to spiff up the photos a little, especially when they were taken on the phone and are poor quality

 July 24th is a Utah holiday.  McKel wore her patriotic outfit from Grandma Carme.  Sooo adorable!

Avril: Avril is more gifted verbally. She forms complete sentences and loves to sing, dance, and tell stories. She pops out of bed every morning with some totally random, hilarious thing to say, and continues to do that till her head hits the pillow at night time. Avril loves to talk and try out new words and silly phrases, but she is very shy around new people. She won't say a word when in front of strangers. Avril loves being a big sister and constantly tells McKel that she loves her. She is our little sweetheart.

Avril is famous for getting dirty.  She loves to play in the mud :)

 My brother Adrian, and his family just moved here all the way from Azusa, California.  We are so happy to have them in town.  Now Avril and McKel have their only cousin here to play with!  Brittany will be starting at Logan High soon.  She is so sweet to play with the girls and babysit for me sometimes :)
